Our watches are hand crafted with natural dried wood. Various types of materials including teak, ebony, maple, bamboo, black sandalwood and genuine leather are all used during the creation process. The trees used in our watches are selected by expert craftsman to ensure exceptional quality.
Yes, our watches are made from a variety of woods depending on which product line you order. The majority of our watches are made from Ebony Wood, Black Sandalwood and Zebra Wood. Please see specific product line descriptions for additional information.
Lakewood has a limited warranty that covers manufacturer's defects for 12 months. Basically, if the watch parts or mechanics don't work properly, and it's our fault, we will repair or replace your product for free. However, this does not cover any abuse you might put your watch through on your own. The warranty does not cover water damage, normal wear and tear, batteries, accidental glass damage, scratches, strap damage, or theft. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims and service requests, so please keep your receipt. If you've purchased from our site or Amazon, the order number will suffice; otherwise if you purchased via another authorized seller or retail location, you will need to contact them directly as they handle their own warranty claims, returns and exchanges – Please see our Warranty/Returns Policyfor additional information.

Yes, the cost for personalized engraving on the watch is $10. Please see our Engraving Policyfor additional details on engravings.
Standard shipping is 5-7 business days. Expedited shipping is available at an extra cost (see shipping policy). For engraved watches, please allow 7-10 business days for watches with engraving.
Many of our watches are water resistant but due to the nature of a handmade wood watches we recommend avoiding water. If your watch gets wet, dry it off immediately.
Because of the personalized nature of engraved items, unless we made a spelling error on the engraving or they arrive damaged or defective, we cannot accept returns.

Our watches have a standard watch battery with a 2 to 3-year life expectancy.
If your battery dies, we recommend bringing your watch to a local jeweler to replace it or sending it in to Lakewood watches and have the battery replaced for a small fee. Please contact us at support@lakewoodwatches.comif you would like to send your watch in for a battery replacement.
